Before & After School
Throughout PVSchools, the Community Education Department provides a variety of before and after school options for families to choose from.
After the Bell
21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Grants strive to build and sustain out of school time learning opportunities that provide academically enriching youth development, while engaging families to be active partners in their child’s success. This program is available at select locations to registered students.
Enrichment programs are tuition-based and offer affordable classes throughout the year. Classes provide opportunities for students in grades K-12 to pursue their interests, expand their abilities and talents, and improve their social skills in an informal, fun, and safe environment.

ST Math is game-based instructional software designed to boost math comprehension and proficiency through visual learning. Integrating with classroom instruction, ST Math incorporates the latest research in learning and the brain and promotes mastery-based learning and mathematical understanding. The ST Math software games use interactive animations that visually represent mathematical concepts to improve conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
Who Is JiJi?
JiJi is the beloved penguin in the ST Math software games. Children help JiJi get past obstacles by solving math puzzles – and they associate JiJi with challenge, learning and the thrill of success. Every time a child demonstrates understanding of a math concept, JiJi crosses the screen, signaling success and leading the student to the next more challenging puzzle.
All Palomino students attend ST Math for five days every four weeks.
