PVSchools builds meaningful relationships with new and existing partners to provide opportunities that enrich the lives of diverse students, staff, families, and community. One example of this community strength is found within the many volunteer opportunities throughout district school sites.
PVSchools offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities that include;

Classroom assistance or site volunteering for families wishing to support their child’s teacher.

Field trip chaperoning for families and community members wishing to support teachers during class trips.

Volunteer In Paradise (VIP) tutoring for community members wanting to provide mentoring and instruction to students in math and reading.

Volunteer coaching for individuals wishing to supporting student-athletes.

An award-winning program that invites members of the community to support student success by providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring in reading and math. This volunteer program cultivates respectful and meaningful relationships to support high expectations and a culture of growth.

Site Volunteers
Site volunteers work under the direct supervision of professional staff, and only with teachers who have requested volunteer services.

Apply to be a Site Volunteer!
Site volunteers must be parents, guardians or grandparents of a student currently at the school where the volunteering will take place. To apply, inquire about opportunities at your child's school by contacting the front office.

Chaperones, Coaches, and Community Volunteers
School chaperones perform an invaluable service, helping to ensure the safety of students attending events and field trips. Parents, guardians, grandparents or relatives are eligible to be a school chaperone after completing a background screening.
Chaperones are fingerprinted and must agree to a background check. Keep in mind that this process takes up to 8 weeks. Therefore, all applications need to be submitted well in advance of participation in any field trips
